Know our Father as Jehovah-Jireh: The Lord Will Provide. The air we breath, the lungs that take in the air, and the ability of the body to use that air to sustain life are all gracious gifts from God. His provisions are abundant and infinite, including the ultimate blessing of all: His very presence. Christ's presence clearly provides all we need (Jack Hayford). By knowing God as our Provider, I mean really knowing Him as our Provider, frees us from our self and opens us up to give to others. Even if that giving causes us temporary hardship we know our Jehovah-Jireh will take care of us.
